We are landscape architects and civil engineers who work on projects of varying scale from large master plans to small parks and plazas. As a firm, we strive to seek the why behind the what. The Opening
We are looking for entry level landscape designers with 0-5 years of experience who are engaged in design and motivated to succeed. You’ll be a good fit if:

  • Great graphics, design and problem solving
  • Interested in both the big idea and the small details
  • Want to join a small studio with big dreams – and have a voice in how we grow.

Our Expectations:

  • Degree in landscape architecture or related field
  • Ability to work on collaborative multi-disciplinary teams
  • Can clearly communicate ideas visually and verbally
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup
  • Self-starter and motivated to succeed
  • Experience in Revit a plus
  • Experience in Lumion is a plus

CIVIL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER

Immediate Openings for Civil Engineer/Project Manager:

DPR is seeking a passionate, dedicated, motivated, and proven Civil Engineer for a Project Manager position in our Charlotte, NC office.  He or she will be responsible for leading a team, project management and production of high quality site plans, construction plan documents, and other project related documents.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven registered Civil Engineer interested in taking the next leap in his/her career path and significant growth within the organization.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered P.E. in North Carolina and South Carolina
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Experience in wide range of projects for both private and public sector clients, including Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use developments
  • Demonstrated ability in Conceptual Design, DD, and Construction Document preparation, Permitting, & Construction Administration
  • Demonstrated design skills and commanding understanding of grading, PCCO stormwater management, Erosion Control, earthwork balancing, gravity sewer and water systems. Pump Station, Forcemain, and low pressure sewer are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) with ability and eagerness to make presentation to Clients and general public
  • Ability to lead and/or co-manage with Landscape Architect in a team setting and in fast paced environment while meeting tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability in responding to RFQ/RFP is a plus
  • Knowledge of or ability to get up to speed on local ordinances and rezoning process a must
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D 2019 & other software applications such as Hydroflow, Hydragraph, Storm Sewer HEC-RAS, WaterCad. Exposure to Site-Ops is a plus.

  • Land Development focus is a must.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology

  • 1-2 yrs of Experience minimum in CAD.

  • Competent in Civil 3D 2019 & other applications such as Hydraflow Hydrograph, Word, Excel, GIS, etc.
  • Competent communication skills (oral and written)
