Lee McLaren and Hy Nguyen of DPR had the pleasure of presenting a “Sustainable Site Design: The Importance of Getting to Know Your Site” presentation at an ASCE Southern Branch meeting in July, 2018.

“Sustainable Site Design” is a broad topic, so we chose to share some case studies based on our own experience and design philosophy. We explained what sustainable design means to us and for our clients. The case studies bring home the importance we give to site analysis as a guiding factor in design. DPR believes collaboration between landscape architects and civil engineers at every step of the design process, especially in the land development field, is key to successful developments.
