The Story
Through the Maintenance Department of the City of Charlotte Storm Water division, DPR was contracted to conduct an engineering study and prepared a planning report for the storm drainage system located near the vicinity of Princeton Avenue, Somerset Drive, and Forest Park Drive of Freedom Park. The existing conditions, documented flood problems, and an evaluation of alternative solutions to correct the problems were analyzed, along with the cost/benefit considerations. The project was put on hold indefinitely due to City’s budget constraints.
