The Story

DPR Associates provided site inventory and analysis for reno
vating the streetscapes of their historic business district.
DPR then used various graphic techniques to aid in visualizing the
possibilities for streetscape enhancement, including utility relocation,
decorative light poles, street trees, trash receptacles and benches.
DPR and Electrical Engineer K.M. Armstrong Associates coordinated
with the utility companies regarding the relocation of the overhead
lines, and developed a cost estimate with phasing recommendations.
Due to the financial constraints of this small community, DPR also
provided assistance to the Town in locating grants and other funding
sources.
