The Story

Located in Gastonia, NC, the Stonebriar Traditional Neighborhood represents an innovative approach to development. The project features a mix of residential units, including single-family detached, townhomes, apartments, and live-work units located near the village center. The project also includes a traditional “Main Street” with street front retail and office uses, recreation amenities, and a day care facility.
One of the outstanding features of in Stonebriar is the open space system, including the Village Green, which provides recreation space for all residents and reinforces the sense of community, due to its close proximity to the village center.

DPR Associates developed the master plan for this project and facilitated the neighborhood meetings and public hearings for rezoning.
