The Story
The Villages at Mallard Creek is an urban residential community comprised of 232 homesites, including 57 detached single-family 35′ wide lots and 175 attached townhomes, along with amenities, a clubhouse, and a community pool.
Located on the west side of Charlotte, at the northeast quadrant of I-485 and I-85 interstates, the development offers a prime opportunity for a high-density, mixed-residential, attainable housing option.
DPR played a pivotal role in assisting True Homes throughout the master planning, rezoning, full construction design documents, permitting, and final engineering certification processes. Other notable features include a 15% treesave area along a preserved stream tributary, NCDOT roadway widening, 4 SCM stormwater sandfilter ponds, and an offsite gravity sewer extension.
